Lord Of The Worlds

I am, O my God,
but a tiny seed which Thou hast sown
in the soil of Thy love,
and caused to spring forth by the hand of Thy bounty.
This seed craveth, therefore,
in its inmost being,
for the waters of Thy mercy
and the living fountain of Thy grace.
Send down upon it,
from the heaven of Thy loving-kindness,
that which will enable it to flourish beneath Thy shadow
and within the borders of Thy court.
Thou art He Who watereth the hearts of all
that have recognized Thee from Thy plenteous stream
and the fountain of Thy living waters.
Praised be to God,
the Lord of the worlds.

I Am Angel Feathers Tickle Me

I had abandoned writing because I thought noone was listening. Last night I found out I was wrong. I am back. I am tired of people pretending to be me.

Wisdom

Do not forsake wisdom,
and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
Thought it cost all you have,
get understanding.
Esteem her, and she will exalt you;
embrace her, and she will honor you.
She will set a garland of grace on your head
and present you with a crown of splendor.

I Am Galileo

Whatever the course of our lives, we should receive them as the highest gift from the hand of God, in which equally reposed the power to do nothing whatever for us. Indeed, we should accept misfortune not only in thanks, but in infinite gratitude to Providence, which by such means detaches us from an excessive love of Earthly things and elevates our minds to the celestial and divine.”

My First Counsel Is This:

Possess a pure, kindly and radiant heart, that thine may be a sovereignty ancient, imperishable and everlasting.

Tranquillity

Men seek retreats for themselves, houses in the country, at the seashore, and in the mountains; and you tend to desire such things very much. But this is a characteristic of the most common sort of men, for it is in your power whenever you will to choose to retreat into yourself. For nowhere either with more quiet or more freedom from trouble does a man retreat than into his own soul, particularly when he has within him such thoughts that by looking into them he is immediately perfectly tranquil; and I affirm that tranquillity is nothing other than the proper ordering of the mind.

Silent Company

You are going home to your home of winter,

To your home of autumn, of spring,
and of summer;

You are going home to the Land of the Living.

To the restful haven of the waveless sea.

Peace of the Seven Lights be upon you, beloved,

Peace of the Seven Joys be upon you, beloved,

Peace of the Seven Loves be upon you, beloved,

On the breast of the Mother of Blessings,

In the arms of the Father of Life.
